Teeth Whitening

The perfect solution to transform dull and yellow teeth, Teeth Whitening lightens external stains caused by aging, excess consumption of tea, coffee, turmeric, wine etc.

The procedure helps you achieve your brightest smile by making your teeth at least 3-4 shades lighter.

Teeth Whitening takes approximately 1 hour and has no side-effects. Only a temporary sensitivity to cold may be present.

Treatment Options: There are two options for teeth whitening, first is to get it done at a dental clinic, and second, at home. Out of the two, you will find that the in-clinic whitening procedure gives faster results, because it employs a more powerful whitening gel, comparatively.

Results: The bleaching effect totally depends on your eating and brushing habits. If you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid food that causes staining, then you won’t require treatment for years.

Why implants:

Why implants are highly preferred as replacements for missing teeth?
1. Implants are anchored permanently in the jawbone thus preventing bone loss
2. Implants require only normal brushing and flossing, no special homecare routines
3. With implants, there is no need to remove healthy tooth enamel from surrounding teeth to accommodate a bridge
4. They help anchor dentures that are loose
5. There is no age barrier for treatment
6. They look completely natural so that no one will know
7. They help you avoid the imminent facial, speech and diet changes
8. At The Dental Studio, an implant surgery is a routine chair-side procedure and is done under local anaesthesia. It is virtually painless and the patient walks out comfortably after the surgery

CAD/CAM Ceramic Crowns and Bridges:

A crown or a cap is used to protect the tooth structure after a root canal treatment, whereas a bridge is prepared to replace missing teeth.

CAD/CAM dentistry is a field of dentistry and prosthodontics that uses CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) to improve the design and creation of dental restorations, especially dental prostheses, including crowns, crown lays, veneers, inlays and on-lays, fixed bridges, dental implant restorations, dentures (removable and fixed), and orthodontic appliances. CAD/CAM complements earlier technologies used for these purposes by any combination of increasing the speed of design and creation, increasing the convenience or simplicity of the design, creation, and insertion processes, and making possible restorations and appliances that otherwise would have been unfeasible.

Depigmentation and Gummy Smile Treatment:

Black and brown pigments are present on the gums. Some have them in deeper concentration, giving the gums a darker appearance. Such pigments are removed to produce natural and pink and aesthetically pleasing gum tissue. A gummy smile is a highly subjective diagnosis that shows tremendous variability over dental and non-dental populations. When patients identify gingival display as an area of concern, a restorative dentist has to be able to determine the aetiology prior to investigating treatment options.

Traditional Methods for Treating a Gummy Smile:
  • Orthodontics
  • Periodontal Surgery
  • Orthognathic Surgery
  • Botox

General Dentistry:

The majority of dental treatments are carried out to prevent or treat the two most common oral diseases which are dental caries (tooth decay) and periodontal disease (gum disease or pyorrhoea). Common treatments involve the restoration of teeth, extraction or surgical removal of teeth, scaling and root-planing and endodontic root canal treatment.

Root Canal Treatment:

When decay or infection extends to the nerve of the tooth, the person almost always experiences throbbing pain. This pain increases at night and with cold and sweet foods. We, at The Dental Studio, offer painless Root Canal (RC) treatment, usually lasting 30 minutes, often after which the patients react by saying, ‘Wow, is that it?’ We make sure the procedure is painless and you are extremely comfortable. Multiple RC’s can be done in a single sitting, with our latest techniques. So, if you are afraid of the term “Root Canal”, you know where to head for a painless treatment.

Oral Surgery:

Oral surgery may be required for a variety of reasons. You may have an impacted tooth trapped in the jawbone or a tooth that is poorly positioned and damaging neighbouring teeth. It is especially common to have these types of problems with growing wisdom teeth. Oral surgery is also necessary for the placement of dental implants and for a few types of gum treatments.

Dentures:

Dentures sometimes are a healthy solution to completely missing or partially missing teeth. A properly fitting set of dentures can greatly enhance your smile and sense of self-esteem. We, at The Dental Studio, use the latest technology to offer you basic dentures, flexible dentures, cast partial dentures and implant supported dentures.

Orthodontics:

Orthodontics is the use of wires to align crooked teeth and to close gaps between teeth. The orthodontic treatment brings the entire face into proportion. Crooked teeth, rotated teeth, spaces between teeth, proclined teeth can all be corrected with the help of braces. Now, with newer technology, the placement of wires is behind the teeth called "Lingual Ortho or Invisible Braces". Braces are not limited only to children, though the ideal age of starting treatment is after 8 to 10 years of age. Adults can use newer options like ceramic braces, lingual or invisible braces. (The wire is placed behind the teeth and therefore not visible to other people)

Nowadays the use of aligners like Invisalign is greatly desired as the treatment of choice.

Paediatric Dentistry:

“Prevention is better than cure”, it’s a statement that holds a lot of water in today’s times. Proper care of your child’s teeth from a very early age will help them have healthy gums and teeth growing up. Parents have to inculcate good oral care habits (brushing and flossing twice a day) in children to prevent tooth decay. Early dental checkups for kids will ensure their mouths to be healthier and cavity free.
